I’m now at the end of one of the most awesome weeks of my life. This job is the greatest. A group of 73 dolphin trainer students came over from Nagoya, Tokyo, and Sendai for an “education” trip. We had so much fun and my Japanese is improving so much. I loved working with this group, they were so fun, but the teachers were my favourite. BEST SENSEI EVER. We had secret smokes and talked 下ネタ (sex talk). They were so funny, and cheeky, and kept trying to trick me into saying dirty shit in front of the students or translators.

We went to Stradbroke Island and saw huge, wild sea turtles, and dolphins, and mantarays. I went snorkelling and touched a napoleon fish and a shark (which totally freaked out and almost bit my arm off). We spent 2 days at Sea World learning about awesome marine creatures and I even fed/patted a dolphin named Gemma. We stayed at Surfers Paradise (the schoolies were SO TAME) and I took a group to Dream World and hung out on Caville, shopping and eating.

And got payed for it.
